Adding your server to the browser

Adding your server to the browser is a pretty simple and automated process. Unlike other server browsers, we automatically scan Steam for new servers to add to our list based on the tags of the servers.

1. Setting up server tags

Open up your server config file at ./game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg and make sure you have an sv_tags entry containing hvh.

Here is an example:

sv_tags "hvh,and,some,random,tags"

2. The exciting but long wait

After applying the tag to your server, you will need to allow up to 10 minutes for our listings to update. This is automatically done behind the scenes and you don't need to do anything else.

3. The finale

After our listings have been updated, your server will now be visible to all visitors!

Troubleshooting

If, for whatever reason, your server does not show up after 10 minutes then please ensure that:

1. You have opened up the necessary ports and your server is accessible by Steam.
2. You have saved and restarted your server after applying the changes to your server.cfg file.
3. Your server IP hasn't been blacklisted - check here.
